Local Author Joe Bullard and his wife came out to my book store yesterday to meet and great.. We sold a few books… I will have some on hand today ask.. as I won’t have them laying out.  I will also have Waiting for Agnes along with Bolita Sam.   You can also buy them on line at www.readerwave.ecrater.com  www.ebay.com  Waiting for Agnes is also on www.amazon.com  Yesterday I though I was taking pictures and I ended up with mini movies… cute but not what I wanted.  Had quite a few new customers please come back soon… We have Harlequin on the sale table today, Next week will be the Children’s books again. We have had many teachers come and buy for their class rooms… Thanks. And also for passing the word on to other teachers.

Depending on weather will be open fro 8 to 2… The flea market it self oven at 6:30 and closes at 3. Those hours are too long during the summer hot months. for me … Remember I am inside the green building.In my bookstore I sell and trade books… Used books… bring one book and .50 and trade for another of the used books.  Come out and see us. My online store is getting more things today.. I found some Leap Pad books and cartridges yesterday and took pictures. started to enter and the computer was so slow that I gave up… Today I want to do my junk box.. Come see these things in the next few days… Tell your friends..

Tonight I am going to see local author Joe Bullard introduce his newest book “Bolita Sam” at our local Lake City,Fl library.  I am the only seller of his books both “Waiting for Agnes” and his new one,”Bolita Sam”. I offer signed copies. I use to offer autographed and dated But that is hard to do when you want a date that is so close to when you bought it.. Some times I am out of town or he is so we need to keep lots of copies on hand and can’t always get together. So we decide to offer signed copies. There are people out there selling copies but they are used.. So watch what you buy. I think I would rather have a new one than a used one for the same price.  Some of the books sell for more than others as the company handling wants more money.. Amazon charges more handling fee than eBay or eCRATER.  I went up in price this year by $1.oo as the supplies went up. Thanks all 300 plus of you who have bought Agnes from over 20 countries… That is so hard for me to believe till I go back and look at the sales slips.. When I have “Bolita Sam” on line for sale I will email each and everyone of you to let you personally know ..If you have read Agnes please write a comment here and let us know what you thought of the book. Hubby just brought me the newspaper there is an article today about the signing tonight. I hope all the locals to LC will come out to hear him… and Meet the Author  his next book is about the Ruby McCollum Story..

I try to fix what I can and hope you will get over your cringe real soon. Have not had time to get with daughter who fixes these things for me … you might know her as weatherangel on twitter.. She has a very demanding job, and she and her partner are the creators of Hurricane and Traveler’s Quest  Then there are my three lovely grandchildren who started school yesterday and you know them on facebook as Ginny and Elizabeth. Ginny is a senior this year. Lizzy will be next year.. (yes I did say three one is not on FB) Yet  As you can see I start on one subject and go on to many more with out a breath… LOL…One of my grandsons just joined FB and asked me to be on with him.. I was quite honored… Grandma Dona as these boys call me… Loves them very much.. I want to go south for birthdays but the closing of my book store is around the same time so will go the week after.. And this will be the first time in a long time that we will be around for Ginny’s She turns 18 this year… Wow where did the time go.. I have a picture I have been looking for to put a then and now… I just have not found it.. has to be in boxes in garage… I will get to it before the year is over. I promise…Oh I mentioned the closing of book store don’t get excited.. We will close every year for a month while the fair is in town .As we are at the fair grounds.. This will give me time to plan and create.. Hubby has made me 8 more book shelves 6 of them will replace the one long one I have in the middle of my store as its falling apart and I will have an extension on both sides To make more room . Both the mystery suspense and the historical romance need more room.. I am hoping this will free up one book case on the back to make more romance back there. When all the other book cases and books come home to be stored in the garage hubby will put backs on the others.. I am always hearing books fall down the back of the shelves as book cases are not up tight to the wall. I will be adding more space to the store so bring in your friends and tell them we will have more books than ever.. I will have a per. sale table for children’s and Harlequin so I don’t have to take it up and down every week.. Let me tell you after being out in the heat or cold all day the last thing you want to do on Sunday afternoon is take down and put up a new sale.

This morning I finished putting in the shot glasses that I took pictures of on Monday. Now I am trying to decide if I need another store on eCRATER for all the odds and ends.  I have started to see the light again.. Lets keep it up. After I got started putting them in it was like I never quit.. I had to go back and repair one mistake on everyone  15 of them .. I had put 6 for oz and it took it as pounds so had to go back and put 1 so the shipping would register… I will ship more than one at a time for a cheaper value.  So does anyone have any idea’s what I should name my store… I will have dolls, post cards, pillows, stuff give me some idea’s please

I sold two book in two days this is wonderful. One here in Florida the other in Sweden. I mailed one yesterday and the other today.  Will be going to yard sales this morning. Can’t wait love doing this.. Have to go back to the library and Wal-Mart to return books.. I have read this series and had forgotten. And it was just this winter.

I wrote out my news letter for the Flea Market. mentioned that I am putting the sale table out first Saturday in August.  I wish I had room and money to expand would make it a every week thing for both Children’s books and Harlequin/Silhouette.  I have some Condensed books, customer was asking for them a while ago and found some and they have not been back.. Also some large print. had a good week… Found more Nora Roberts. I am getting a lot of trade these days.. So I have not been able to get under my counters and put it out no room.. I did trade on my hardcover table took some off and put others out. Going to put away biography this week so I have room for some other things that sell better..   I am collecting strawberry boxes.. I can fit 28 books nicely and I can read the titles on them nicely. They will be great for when I have to move the book store in October because of the fair.  I wish the Flea Market was open Thursday though Sunday that would be great.Of course there are people who work those days and can’t come But there are allot of us who are retired and could come. Something to think about.

To the person who had to have a book about God and gave me a DOLLOR  that I turned into the bank and not nothing for … If  you had asked me nicely I might of given you the book… Being dishonest will not get you back into my store I will remember you.

I am thinking about putting my gift shelves back in and doing some gift items also… And going to try making book covers… see how that goes…
