Have not done allot with mine… I may not for awhile… I have music on it… I have been told I can put books on it… I feel like I am cheating allotof people out of a good read when I get done. And my used book store would suffer.. Of course I don’t know how it could be any worse than it is now… I am the only one writing and reading. This is why I have never become a writer my stories and grammar are only good enough for me to read. I had a grandma who would correct my grammar when I would write her letters and send them back to me… I never looked at them I was so upset that she would do it… My other grandma would take cards some one has sent to her and cross out words and put her own in.. I thought this was wonderful that she would take the time to do that…. I found out when I lived with this grandma that she could draw… I never knew that.. she was really good… She would not draw much as her family made fun of her… Well I guess you know who I take after… I have thought up some good stories… I have pretended to be someone else all my life… Well I don’t have to pretend thanks to my wonderful family I have a wonderful life now. My children my husband and the children he has brought to this marriage has made my life what I have always dreamed of… May everyone know such happiness.. Of course there are days I want something everyone does.. I would love travel,visit family and friends, see places I have never been.. Due to allot of reasons this will never happen.. I don’t go further than 1hr away from my house anyone time… Did you know there are allot of things with in one hr of someones house… If I could get it up to 2 1/2 I could really have a great time.. see Mickey or grandchildren, nieces and nephew. Can’t wait till winter comes so we can go back to Fridays and see our family that we always have lunch with.. Some are doing other things over summer… Have a good one .. My dear friend who has been my friend for over 45 yrs… and I send a friendship ball back and forth to each other every month.. this is a silver ball that opens and you put something inside and give it to someone in friendship.. My sister in law has loved the idea ever sense she heard about… This past year I found a second ball and started sending it to her over the summer… She and I both have got the first send and now its on its way back to her I hope she like what I sent …. If anyone has rambled its surely me today…. What a day for someone to read this… I am listening to Cher on my iPod, I have Reba, George Strait, Garth Brooks and Michael Buble I might get some early tunes of MJ but not sure… If you read this please send someone else to read my mess… LOL…. Have a great day…. I am off to put some wonderful writers into my bookstore for someone to see and just have to you are Thankgoodness for spell check…

Friendship and Love = Ball of Fun
Thursday, June 11th, 2009Sense 1998 my dearest friend and I have been sending this silver ball back and forth once a month sometimes more with little trinkets of love.. We have both moved in that time and talked about all the thinks we found that we have given each other… Some are more treasured than others… Today I started a new ball going to my sister-in-law who goes away for the summer, and has loved watch ing me get and hear about my ball and has said she would love to get one from one of her friends… She even tried sending and it did not work they did not send back… So today I took a silver ball I found at a yard sale took silver polish to it.. Came out pretty neat… At another yard sale found a small sock made into a change purse.. has a closing at the top… I put quarters in and a note, put in ball… My husband got the box stuffed it with tissue paper I had given him of different colors and put the ball in … sense we did not have the original note that comes with it when you buy one I made up my own and put it in. She gets to her summer home next week and it will be there … Wish I had eyes that went that far to see her face… My friend who I send a ball to even helped she made the reversible name and address tag… for the box. Now all we have to do is go to the post office…

Friday, March 27th, 2009You ask what they have to do with each other…..Berta and I have been friends sence High School 10th grade… Sence 2008 was our 40th class reunion you figure the math… A week or so a go I did a blog where I showed you a silver ball that opens up and you can put things in… That is a friendship ball… We started sending one in 1998, I sent it to her and the next month she sent it back to me with a present inside…. We have had some really cute stuff go back and forth… Right now the ball is on its way back to me… It was sent yesterday I was told. With telephones and computers we comuncate every day, some times more. Most of the time we find things that fit in the special ball sometimes we have to put it on the outside just laying in the box…. The box gets used over and over..A couple of months ago I pealed enough tape off to make a small ball… LOL…. the address card has one set of addresses on one side and reversed on the other so we never have to write it down just turn the card over… And yes I did forget and put back on my side and it came back to me.. A couple of years ago one got lost in the mail…. So we are on our second ball… Another ball well be launched this summer…. To a very special person who has wanted to do this for many years and had no one to do it with, as all her special friends live in her town… Thats great but then again she has no one to send to…..I found a ball at a yard sale last year(you can find anything so don’t though anything away,till after your sale then you know someone wasn’t looking for it….) Thats another story..I have things all over my house. Last month I got a minuture Easter bunny snow globe… it sits on my table… I had sent her mini bear refrigerater magnets.. Had 4 and they fit in the ball so that is how small they were… Putting a picture of some of the stuff on her. I just got a new shelf in the shape of a house with bigger holes for the tall things…
Oh just to change the subject a little, yesterday I got a Blog answer from Author MaryAnne Stahl. I had mentioned that I read her book “The Opposite Shore” on a January 19th wrote in here… How cool is that.. So to read it you have to go back to Jan.. blogs…

The Friendship Ball Poem
A Ball is a circle, no beginning, no end. It keeps us together like our circle of friends. The treasure inside for you just to see, is the treasure of friendship you have grated to me..
I found a ball like mine at Old Town Gifts and Collectibles on the internet, or Call 1-479-271-7980. As I mentioned before we have been sending this ball back and forth for 11years every month one of us has it.. I am mailing mine today.. found the cuties little things at the hospital gift store when Mom was there a few weeks ago..
WE just got back from taking GGElla for a colon test… seems ok need to watch what she eats for her Diverticous (sp)
I have decided to stop the pills for my cold I only have two days left and I feel much better… I need to be alert when taking Mom to doctors. And I can work on computer when I don’t take them…
GGElla (MOM) is drinking a chocolate milk shake that ‘s what she wanted….
Going to go watch soap opera Y&R then come back to computer till GL….by for now

Friendships can last Forever
Friday, February 20th, 2009Some friendships last for ever. I have had the same friend for 45 yrs.. About 15 yrs ago, someone came out with what they call a friendship ball.. Its a silver ball that comes with a paper on friendship and its got bath salts in it.. The idea is to send this to someone and they send it back to you with something else in it… We have been doing this almost every month in all these years.. Sometime the items don’t fit the ball some time they do but they are never bigger than the box that goes back and forth… The box sometimes get so much tape on it, we need to take time to peal it off… My friend Roberta made a address card with our names and address so that we just have to turn it over and tape it down… and off it goes.. I just got mine today in the mail.. I got a clear ornament that has sand and shells and a little red pail and say Southport, NC…. She used to live there and went to see her husband who is working there for a few months at his old job. She was just here for my birthday the week before and I had sent her a valentines gift in her ball. I wonder how many miles that ball has going from North Carolina to Florida every month… some time twice… Its so much fun.. My sister in law got one when she heard about it and sent it and the person never sent it back.. I have things all over my house…The address stamp for our new house (three years ago) came in it.. stickys with my D for Dona came in it… a few bookmarks came in it at different times… She went to Germany and I got something in it… I went to NY and she got something.. I go to yard sales a lot and she gets something.. She goes to the dollar store and I get something… You can get these balls still on the internet I am sure….I found one at a yard sale and picked it up as we lost one in the mail a couple of years ago and I went on the internet to find another..
