A Long Time

I can’t believe its been this long sense I wrote .  I have been busy wrapping Christmas gifts.. Shopping for my book store.. And hating the idea of writing a Christmas letter. I went from dreading it to not doing it to doing nothing to sending out cards… And I got the cards and then was unhappy with them.. They had sparkles on them that were cute till they were all over the table and clothes.. More fun.. Well they are ready except for a couple that I have no address for. Hopefully I will get those soon. I am having problems thinking of what to get hubby for Christmas I go though this every year.. I have idea’s and kids come along and need some so I pass them off.. Then I am left with nothing again… Any idea’s !

23 Shopping Days Till Christmas

This is what is happening at our bookstore at the Lake City,Florida Flea Market on Brandford Hwy and 90. we are a couple of miles off of I-75 if you are visiting or staying over night on Saturdays and Sundays at one of our Motels or campgrounds come see us.Contact 386-965-6706 Open 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

  I am looking for Fantasy books and plastic shopping bags.  I have just acquired a selection of John McDonald books.. I know they are older than I would normally  have … I am bringing my LeapPad selection back for the holidays.. machines and books.. New this week we will have a special bookcase for magazines. They have been 50 cent we are going down to 25 cents.  We have a large section come check us out.

This is the last few days for Waiting for Agnes. I will be taking this book off line on Friday. Saturday Book Signing

Can’t believe its Sunday already. What a busy week… Still waiting on what is going to go on with our son-in-law.. Keep him in your prayers.. He does have a lump but we don’t know what they are going to do about it.

Local Author Joe Bullard and his wife came out to my book store yesterday to meet and great.. We sold a few books… I will have some on hand today ask.. as I won’t have them laying out.  I will also have Waiting for Agnes along with Bolita Sam.   You can also buy them on line at www.readerwave.ecrater.com  www.ebay.com  Waiting for Agnes is also on www.amazon.com  Yesterday I though I was taking pictures and I ended up with mini movies… cute but not what I wanted.  Had quite a few new customers please come back soon… We have Harlequin on the sale table today, Next week will be the Children’s books again. We have had many teachers come and buy for their class rooms… Thanks. And also for passing the word on to other teachers.

Joe Bullard’s Bolita Sam selling off the shelves

I have not had so excitement sense the day I got married to Mr. West.  Paper on line (Lake City Journal)  put an article about Joe Bullards new book “Bolita Sam” and then mentioned that I sell it for him and I am at the Flea Market… my phone has been wringing off the hook.. I guess I will have to bring books with me to the Flea Market. On Saturday and Sunday. Will have to get more from Joe as I don’t want to mess up my inventory at home (these are for mail outs.). I have had over 60 lookers at the sight..That is so great. I am sorry that Amazon is not on with us… There is a glitch.. Maybe soon… But till then you can find Waiting for Agnes and Bolita Sam at my Flea Market Store in Lake City Fl  or on line at www.readerwave.ectater.com  www.ebay.com

Depending on weather will be open fro 8 to 2… The flea market it self oven at 6:30 and closes at 3. Those hours are too long during the summer hot months. for me … Remember I am inside the green building.In my bookstore I sell and trade books… Used books… bring one book and .50 and trade for another of the used books.  Come out and see us. Hubby came in as I was starting this couple of hours ago and mentioned a yard sale .. Well you don’t have to say the word twice .. I stopped writing my blog of one sentence and off we went.  Well if you know me … I had a lot of things to do first.. dress,eat,etc… We just got back.. as empty handed as we left except for a sprite we got at the S&S on the way home.. it was a pit stop… I can’t go in and not get something I feel guilty.  Well tomorrow will be better and Saturday I might send Hubby to a promising one.  I have 8 new book cases in my garage.. three on each side to replace the one big one that is falling apart, and two small ones to put at the ends of that one to put ends on them and not waist space..I want to have three spaces when we open back up in November. Remember we close for the Fair to come Our last day for a month with be October 10th.
