Little by little I have been taking them out and taking them to the flee market so this morning I just took all but one out. “Waiting for Agnes” by Florida Native Joe Bullard. Book is about the Coral Castle built in the 1950’s with huge coral boulders… Great book and a good seller for Joe and I. To love family and get over what you think is wrong with them.. They may not think it… So forget it and move on.. Today is a day of planning for the next week.. I need to make those lists.. get ready for family to come, birthdays that are this month.. I got the cards out… I have gifts to wrap and something to buy (hubby) I did so well for our Ann. that I have no idea for his birthday. I need to work on Christmas for him also.. I need to get an interest in my store again.. Its business has been so bad that I have been working on making things for kids for Christmas instead of working on getting business better..I need to set my sights a little higher and work on this too… I need to change my attitude and make me feel better … Better is good… and good is Better…. My motto is Every day is better than the last.I will work on myself. Things will be better one day. I have to believe…. My bookstore will get better and I will have a great winter…Looking for great reading or listen pleasure new or used signed or autographed, a great learning tool in LeapPad look no futher go to www.readerwave.ecrater.com Crazy Woman Moves OnTuesday, October 27th, 2009New computer and already its acting up… Hubby thought he fixed the problem last week… but its back again… I give up… I guess I am not suppose to be able to get around on this thing with out someones help all the time… Its makes me very sad to think I have to have help all the time to get around… I guess I know how an older person feels who needs to depend on someones help to get them to Plan A let a lone to B… Yesterday afternoon talked to my sister in law and we are having a yard sale at her house this weekend… She was planning one and I was picking up the phone to call her about one when she called me… So I invited myself to her house. I have my car all loaded except for some things in my closet that I need to get out. I will go broke… LOL… Well this is my week so far… I hope I can get this to save… with this computer you never know Today in the LifeMonday, October 26th, 2009Lots to do today and don’t know or want to get started… Laundry needs to be done… I need to work in my office on books and in the garage… Have boxes to fill and organize. I want to start making something new as I finished the other items… I want to see if I can follow directions.. I am quite excited about that.. I was on twitter yesterday afternoon and had fun talking back and forth to people.. Sometimes I talk and no one answers…. I had two customers for my stores yesterday. That was great… I will mail one out today and the other when I get the payment… I have started reading a book and its about Harlequin about a little girl who see things before they happen.. She saved a school bus from going down the river… That’s in the first 10 pages whats going to happen next…? You can find other books new and used at www.readerwave.ecrater.com Computer gamesSunday, October 25th, 2009Computer games, wow can they be additive..On facebook with my family and there is Farm Town and Farmville. I just bought a house on one of them and now I have very little money.. Does that sound like real life or what. I have crops to take care of and animals to milk,collect the wool etc… I just wrote a note to my daughter to take care of her garden. It needs tending.. Now most people would say I need a life…Oh and for the non farmer there are war games… I am always getting invited to those..And the one that can keep me for hours on end during the night the Jewels… Oh I so want to get a big score and beat out the boys… my score is nothing to sneeze at but theirs is better… so you see why my book store has no new stock.. i have been so so busy with other things…I don’t know where I will put my holiday stock anyways.. Book store only can do media mail and can’t sell only books there.. So you see there is always a delima around my area… HelpMonday, October 19th, 2009I started writing here and hubby came in and changed my whole train of thought… Some days I don’t get dressed as I don’t want to do anything but be around the house whether I am on the computer, reading a book or crocheting.. I have just taken that back up recently.. I am working on simple presents for holidays.. I may get them done and I may not.. I am going in two directions I have picked up simple gifts as well so that I can take them back if I need to… or want to.. I have been asking my Mom for help and have not cringed when she offers with out me asking… This has been our problem in the past to much of the wrong kind of what she calls help, and I would call butting in…(or what they might(family)call corrective criticism Help is a strange word it can be what it is help or it can be put in a tone of voice as Criticism… This is the kind of help I have always gotten from all my relatives mostly the older ones… and it was passed down to my parents so this is what I knew as a child and passed it down at my kids.. Luckily they did not pass it on down… The cycle was broken some how… My husband cringes when I talk back at my mother instead of to her… But this is how I was raised.. its hard to brake the cycle.. I did not live by my Mother for the first 10 yrs of my present marriage and when my Mother came to live with us after my step father died, all this old stuff came right back into my life… Its hard on him and he is great and lets us get it out… then he cringes… So my asking for help from my Mother is strange for me.. I read alot.. we just had family here this weekend and it was great.. when they come they go into my store and pick out books that they want to take home.. So I have taken a few books off my store … Its fun to talk over series that we both like.. I have to mention to her about Virgin River by Rybon Carr its my favorite lately… and maybe because it good and maybe because she gives us so many to read in one year… That does not mean I love Cedar Cove by Debbie Macomber any less… You can buy both these authors and many other at www.readerwave.ecrater.com Book Lady Rambles On.Thursday, October 15th, 2009Today we are going to a Library sale.. We went last year and got lots of books… I am hoping to get the authors that my readers are looking for… We went yesterday to doctors appointment and then to the used book store.. I was able to get quite a few different kinds.. Even got some westerns… I now have so many books to take that I need to get a second table.. That will make me 5 and I can put out 30 boxes of books… I even have some new or almost new that I am going to take just have to find a way to mark them as they will cost more as I payed more for them.. I might take the idea from a friend who had a book store here local and mark the cover … I have a couple of weeks to think on this… I can’t wait to go back to the flee market .. I did this with out help.. so if anything is not like it should be.. I am not a geek don’t claim to know anything about computers… My daughter who helps me has two teenage daughters one in band.. and a younger son who is a geek… so she is needed at home… I am trying to be not needy..And whine that I need her … Its hard as I was so dependent on her for so long.. Then all of a sudden it clicked.. And I was able to do on my own with the help of my husband once in a while. Now if I could get people to read you and comment it would be nice.. I have started my holiday gift giving idea’s I have one gift bought .. woman’s grab bag.. for my husbands family… We will get together at my sister-in-laws house and exchange.. We have not made any plans as yet for any holiday coming up.. Will wait and see… I need to think of Husbands birthday is coming up next month.. I don’t know what to get him..Tools are out he can buy his own better than I can… Clothes he buys when he needs them. I wish there was some kind of workshop that I could send him to for turning wood.. He is getting really good with that.. Or some place to buy wood of different kinds. That would be a cool gift.
