Wednesday and more Shot Glasses

Good Morning,

Its Wednesday and its foggy out. Will get better as the day goes on. I took lots of pictures of shot glasses last night to enter into eBay sometime this week. Doing them in groups this time instead of single glasses. If you want to find them look for Lots not Singles. Sold one yesterday and will be mailing it today. I will be looking for pop corn or bubble wrap to put them in. Friends of mine at the Flea Market are selling tools on eBay so have been giving them my newspapers. I don’t want to use them as they get the glasses dirty. So if you are local and have any of these supplies you can drop them at my house or at the Flea Market. I need to go shopping for books and I need to leave my money in the back for rent ..Man I hate these big delima’s

Two More Weeks

I can’t wait my book store reopens on the 13th of November. That means we start setting up on the 11th and 12th.. Hubby and step daughters birthday on the 12th. Ouch.. Sorry Honey. I love you … Lots… Thanks for all the book cases you made me and all the yard sales you took me to this year.. All the lunches you went to Willy Jo’s to get for me.. And yesterday we found a nursery in Live Oak that we had never been too.. Had so much fun. They had sidewalks so my scooter did not have to go in rocks.. The people were very nice.. I got two rose bushes and Hubby got something that he put out side our bathroom window. This weekend I also got all the Christmas things I bought so far and put them on our bed.. Then I put them in family groups and started my list. I have one group almost done.. We went to Wal mart to find a box for something I bought yesterday. Its about the 12th time we have gone sense they redid the store and they did not have what we went for. I can’t go to Gainsville every time I need something. As it is I make lists for when ever we do go. This is the only time I miss living in South Florida, when I want to run out to the store and I can’t. I will be so glad when Big Lots moves in they are working on the store and I am sure it will be done real soon so they can get the holiday shoppers in there. Boy am I rambling today… Have to go “The Talk” is coming on. It was great as always.. Love everyone of them… I have watched everyone of the ladys at one time or another on something. Miss Julie on the Early Show.. Have to say Maggie is doing ok.. I use to watch her on the news in SF. Have only watched Sharon a short time.. but she is a pistal… I wonder how Judge Judy like her with her feet on the couch? I thought maybe her feet hurt and they gave her the ok to do that.. But she makes my bad legs hurt just watching her Love the show…. Missed the first day as I was looking for it to be on at 11am not 2pm… so got that fixed in a hurry went on line and watched the first day and have been back every day sense..

Mixed up Day

My daughter gave me a complament and now I can’t think of what to write today… She said yesterday’s blog was great… Help… now I have to live up to yesterday, today…LOL (really my story that I watch is coming on and I will be back later….) I am back… soap was interupted by breaking news.. so missed the storm that was going on Young and the Restless.

We went yard saling today got some nice books.Not nearly as many as last week. I can’t wait to get back to my book store… The setup has been going over in my head for days. I know I won’t have it all done the first weekend as It will be just me doing it.. Hubby will help set up the shelves but I don’t expect him to help put them away. I have boxes and boxes of books.. at least 30 more than I had when I started last year.. I have more book cases and will be two spaces bigger than when I first started last Jan. I just love my store. Would love to have a store that is open all the time but the funding just is not there. What I have is great. I have lots of regular customers that trade and buy. So people are just not into trading … I get to go yard sailing again tomorrow .. I have not been on a Saturday in a very long time. Those of you who might read this and are customers please bring bags.. I used the very last one before I left… I am hopeing that the first weekend will be a humdinger… The grand opening is the next weekend. My husbands birthday is one of the days we will be setting up.. I am so sorry huney. Well back to doing what ever reading a good Christmas book by Janet Dailey its new. Just finished Susan Wiggs newest one.. Both are great. Weekend Report…

Well today is the first Monday after closing my bookstore for the next Month. I have done nothing yet. So going to start here.. I can’t wait to go back.. Nov 11. If that date sounds familiar to some of you its my Husband and step daughter’s birthdays. My husband will be helping me put the book cases back in place and the new ones in place. Then I expect he might put the hard cover books on tables for me as there is not rime or reason to them. Just put on tables for people to look thought. The other books will be mine to put in ABC order…Not looking for ward to that.. As I have so many more books this year than when I started last year and I will have more book cases and tables than I had last year at this time. I also hope to make more money when I go back… I will be coming back with my gift items and LeapPad. Also someone asked me to bring the Mag’s back we are thinking about this one….Something I am completely out of is Large Print books… Do you have any you can check them at my door… LOL… I have lots of Westerns that I just got in the last week or so some are a little ragged but If you are looking for that title thought you just might not care.

Remember a week or so ago I mentioned my youngest daughter Ilene Jones was written up in Newseek. Well I took her FB pictures and the cover and the article and had it mounted. She took this picture of it on the right.

I had mentioned that we might not be selling Waiting for Agnes after we run out of this batch. We are thinking on this for a week or so.. And his other book will be for sale in a week or so. I don’t know if I will have it for sale but if I don’t the author will. Will give you more info in the next week or so.. Just finished reading Karen Young. I just found her in the last few months.. I am sure she was right there on my shelf but I never knew her before. I really don’t know her now.. I should look up her website and tell her I love her books.. I love a series of books about one town.. This one book has three stories that were first written for Harlequin Romance. I don’t read them most times as they are small books.. I like to have something around for a couple of days.. I am not a fast reader it takes me two or three days to read a book.This one had three stories and I put it down after two to read Debbie Macomber’s 1022 Evergreen Place.. This was great also. Then I picked up Karen Young and finished reading Heat of the Night. Now I m going to read Never Tell (not sure I have not read before) I do that sometimes read something that I have already read… I read so many I forget… If you are interested in reading Heat of the Night by Karen Young you will find a used copy at my book store this weekend.. I had a call from youngest daughter you might know her on twitter as weatherangel she is a program developer and has made two great programs out side of her day job for AAA. You might of her of Hurricane and Travelers Quest. Well she informed me that she was interviewed last week for NewsWeek how cool is that.. So those of you that get this mag.. look for Ilene Jones next weeks issue. I am so proud of her and her partner… Everyone have a great day and smell the roses….but watch out for the bee’s LOL

Nothing new still fighting this cold.. Had to go to stronger meds.. Today it seems to be braking up. We were going to have lunch with relatives and decided it was to soon. Hubby is back in for nap we had lunch i had left over wanton soup and he had watermelon. Hay what floats your boat as well as we feel… I bought lots of westerns and christian books over the weekend. So now I am not buying anything. If you want to trade that is fine but do not bring me anything to buy.. I am broker than broke. LOL. Need to save up to pay taxes and rent. I have three copies of Waiting for Agnes then I don’t know when I will get more. This happens every summer.. I thought I had bought enough ahead… If I run out and you are interested in one let me know and I will make a list and let you know when I get more in or if I can’t will let you know that too..

Bookstore I am stopping the special sales over the summer… As I will be in and out having other people take care while I take a weekend here and there. It will be in very capable hands… So feel free to trade good shape books nothing older than 1990 and must be smoke free… please… hardbacks are at the stores choice.. some we take some we don’t. No coffee table books please trying to sell what we have and make room for other things. We have lots of self help and cook books. a little bit of everything.

We are back from visiting our grands and their parents.. Was a nice time now we have to get back to work. Brought back books from both homes.. Lots of Computer books.. Lots of fiction books… And plastic bags… I asked everyone to save me plastic bags and they did .. came back from South Florida with a black garbage bag full from our grandsons house.. How cool is that.

Trying to think of ways to get more people to go inside the building and see all the new venders… We are almost full now.

Going book hunting this morning.. Then to the flee market to set up for tomorrow… Need to make a appointment for hubby at eye doctor.. Can’t forget that.. Need to go to post office and mail book I sold yesterday.

Computers,what did we do with out them.. My friend has her’s in the shop and has me watching her farm…What fun for me as I get to keep up with her farm and mine…

My birthday is tomorrow and today I am going to my daughters to celebrate her birthday witch is Wednesday and mine. Then tomorrow going to Grandson’s house and celebrate mine and his witch are both tomorrow… how lucky am I …

My flee market addition was a great success when it opened yesterday… I hope today goes as well…

Its Sunday a day of forgiveness and rest.. To love family and get over what you think is wrong with them.. They may not think it… So forget it and move on.. Today is a day of planning for the next week.. I need to make those lists.. get ready for family to come, birthdays that are this month.. I got the cards out… I have gifts to wrap and something to buy (hubby) I did so well for our Ann. that I have no idea for his birthday. I need to work on Christmas for him also..

I need to get an interest in my store again.. Its business has been so bad that I have been working on making things for kids for Christmas instead of working on getting business better..I need to set my sights a little higher and work on this too… I need to change my attitude and make me feel better … Better is good… and good is Better…. My motto is Every day is better than the last.I will work on myself. Things will be better one day. I have to believe….
