Thursday means Surviver

Surviver  who will make it thought tonight’s game… Now this is a strange way to make a day you say… Some times when you retire that’s what you have to remember your days by.  Today I go to the doctor for the next shot in my knee, only 4 more to go counting today.Going to a new store we found to look for books… Hope to find some of the authors you all love.. James Patterson(tried one of his books this week I got to 5 chapter and gave up..) to much killing for me .. I want soft stuff to read.. maybe someone is mad at someone but its everyday life… some hurting and killing but not allot of blood and guts..I will keep these authors on hand for you but I don’t have to read them. I am reading a Fern Michaels that I picked up at the store this week.  I am hoping to find some westerns this week..

For those of you waiting for shot glasses and dolls to be put in my store I am sorry I have not been able to get started.. I have a road block in my mind.. I will get going soon.. bare with me please…

Blog Hungry

I have been hungry to tell everyone about this week… I have been out looking for books… Where are the westerns hiding… let me know… True Crime has been a big thing lately and Science Fiction. James Patterson, Stuart Woods, Nora Roberts, Debbie Macomber just to name a few authors that are very popular at my store. Have a couple of places to go next week and will hunt some more down… If you know of a source let me know. I am all ears. I am thinning out my hard covers… I keep getting more and more… I had a stool that I use to sit on to reach lower shelves and I filled it with books… My husband says to me where are you going to sit now.. Well I cleaned off that stool in a hurry.. LOL.

You know I sell Waiting for Agnes on line … Its a great new signed book by local author Joe Bullard.. I now have copys at the book store so feel free to ask about it…

Have a great week .. spring is here and trying to have a spring in my step… After shots in my right knee… only 4 more to go… That means 4 trips to Jacksonville….

Productive Week

New week… great start….

Last week we got allot done… cleaned out every room in the house had yard sale on Friday sold all the important stuff.. Then had one thing I told someone about while working the Flee Market on Saturday and they came and picked it up.. So that is over. As far as Flee Market goes it was a slow money week.. Had lots of new customers.. We have a new sign out side the building that brought allot of people in… This week going to work on putting items for sale on eBay and or eCRATER. So check them both out.

We have “Waiting for Agnes” by local author Joe Bullard. He will have a new book coming out this summer. keep looking for it.. you can find both books at the Flee Market (Agnes is already there).  or www.readerwave.com www.ebay.com www.readerwave.ecrater.com www.amazon.com   As I said I will have many other things for sale in the next weeks and months. First picture is how we use to sell out of the car last year with three tables and lots of strawberry boxes full of books, Now we are inside the building with lots of shelves and storage.. What a week… been going very fast. Getting ready for yard sale on Friday. Then turn around and do flee market on Saturday and Sunday. Should be good.. I have so much for the yard sale… Did not know we had so much stuff.. Cleaning every room in the house. Getting new beds for two rooms.. Putting some things on eCRATER  next week.. I know my shot glass people have been waiting for this. I will also have dolls  and dishes..

Yard Sale

Working real hard to get things ready for yard sale we are having this Friday here at the house. Then Saturday and Sunday at the Flee Market for my book store.. Will have some older books for sale at our yard sale.. I don’t like to keep older books at the flee market so I use them for my yard sale once a year.

Hopefully real soon I will get back to putting my shot glasses on eCRATER and then have dolls on eBay.. or eCRATER, Have not decided

Have been doing real well with Waiting for Agnes on Amazon as the author asked me to start listing there again. Where do you know that author signs your copy before you buy it… every person has a signed copy.

Another sleepless night

agnesMan it is hell getting older. I use to lay down and be sleep in 15 minutes or less. Now its hours… and sometimes right away then wake up in two and stay awake for hours.. Get a lot of time on the computer at night.. Try not to think of eating at night.. Its bad enough during the day.. I am a dreamer and a thinker.. There are things always going on in my head. I sometimes don’t realize I have been asleep as I go to sleep thinking and wake up with the same thoughts.  Weekends are hard for me to sleep. I get excited to be going to my bookstore on Saturdays and Sundays.  I sell used books at the Lake City Flee Market  and have so many things going on..  I sell most books for $1.00 I trade a book and .50 for a book.. I buy some books.. westerns and christian.  I will be adding some authors to that list soon..  I have been lax about checking dates of books as I don’t want anything older than 1990. People have been slipping them in. So now I will have to be more careful and check dates of books..

I sell one new book and it’s signed by author.  “Waiting for Agnes” by local author Joe Bullard.  I am the only one who sells this book locally and online.  I always have a couple with me at the market. Dear Blog

Good Morning dear blog.. I am so sorry I have been missing you every morning.. I have been very busy with my farms(farmville and farmtown, Country life and my Island Paradise.  That and grand children, getting ready for a yard sale this Friday or Next. Receiving and looking for new pieces of furniture.  Oh and my book store and my online book.. Then there is my hubby who is having some minor surgery this coming week..

Today is yard sales (other peoples) we did real well last week. Hoping to do as well this week.. Our online book “Waiting for Agnes” we put it back on Amazon at authors request. Has done well so far. Remember we have it on eBay, amazon, and ecrater. Then if you are local we have it at the Lake City Flee Market on the weekends. Come inside to “The Book Store”

We are back from visiting our grands and their parents.. Was a nice time now we have to get back to work.  Brought back books from both homes.. Lots of Computer books.. Lots of fiction books… And plastic bags… I asked everyone to save me plastic bags and they did .. came back from South Florida with a black garbage bag full from our grandsons house.. How cool is that.

Trying to think of ways to get more people to go inside the building and see all the new venders… We are almost full now.

Going book hunting this morning.. Then to the flee market to set up for tomorrow… Need to make a appointment for hubby at eye doctor.. Can’t forget that.. Need to go to post office and mail book I sold yesterday.
