Pictures, fog, moving,uck………..

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

Got up this morning thinking I was going to take pictures. But the fog is covering the sun and does not look like it wants to move anytime soon.  So there goes that idea.  Guess I might have to clean house instead… uck.

Our neighbors who have been here less than a year are moving..They are military.. I hope they are getting to go back to Hawaii where they are from.

Before I started “Summer on Blossom Street”  by Debbie Macomber..(which I also have on ebay as a auction… I was reading “Up Close and Personal” by Fern Michaels.. Great book.. Tells how a mother has a sickly child and has another to give the sick one bone Mauro… Then gets someone to trade this child and give her one that’s not hers and she takes it home and gives to her caregivers to raise… Watch the sorry unravel when she is older…You will be pleasantly surprised at the out come…

You can check out both these authors ontheir websites… Debbie is on tour with her book… Such a nice person .. Saw her Tuesday night when I got two signed books…  http://debbiemacomber.com   http://fernmichaels.com

You can buy my  books at three sites, Amazon, eBay, and eCRATER, all offer “Waiting for Angnes by local author Joe Bullard.

ebay offers a copy of “Summer on Blossom Street”  autographed  at Auction.

eCRATER has all other books, LeapPad, Movies, Music, talking books, Singing Bear,  More items going in everyday….

Reviews and Comments

Wednesday, May 27th, 2009

Do you wonder why reviews and comments are so important to someone…

Reviews, help people decide if they want to buy a product or not. What you think means a lot to someone.. I for one do not do enough reviews… The last book I read I did not write anything about… Will have to fix that…

Comments… like on here.. if no one is reading what I think it makes me sad sometimes.. I write for me so to get my thoughts out but I also would once in a whilelike to  know what other people think.  That’s like when I sell something at one of my stores I give feedback.  I like to receive the same back, feedback that is.What I write here would be nice to get comments to see if someone feels the same or different…

go to http://readerwave.com to find several of my stores and I sell on http://amazon.com also…

I have “Waiting For Agnes at three places, and Have “Summer on Blossom Stree” on eBay  both are autographed…

Wonderful time……….

Wednesday, May 27th, 2009

Book signing in Tallahassee with Debbie Macomber, was great last night.. She has a nice group of people who follow her. One lady I met was born in the town I live in so we had quite a conversation while waiting in line.  As she remarked… All Debbie’s fans are people you would like to know… (That is a great complement to Debbie’s books.)  I am rereading “The Summer on Blossom Street” Before I put this special autographed copy away in a special place.   My husband took lots of pictures and they all came out  great… I was able to give out alot of my business cards… I hope I hear from some of these people whether they buy from me or not..  Gene made a bird house for Debbie and she loved it… Its so nice when you can make someone smile.. I introduced myself to Wayne and whether he really remembered me or not.. He made that he did and that was very kind.. He talked to us a while when he could of just walked away or said I don’t talk to strangers… Thanks Debbie and Wayne for remembering us.. You made our wonderful day even better…

Memorial Day

Monday, May 25th, 2009

Today we thank those men and woman who have served us well all the way back to forever…. Remember the men and woman who might of not made it home again. I can remember only one person that  I knew well who did not make it home.. His name is on the Vietnam Wall in Washington DC.  My thoughts are with his family today.. I think of him often.. at odd moments.. I know we would of had different lives today no matter what else might of happened…

I want to thank the baby boomers, my cousins who served and came home to good lives… One cousin who served came home and started fishing in Alaska where he lived with his family… It was and is a cold hard life but its what he choose and my hat is off to you for sticking with what you wanted..  I took the easy way out .. Married the first guy who asked.. But I have two lovely children and their children… Then later in life I was gifted with two lovely stepchildren who were raised by their Mother and Father to be very respectful (I could not ask for better stepchildren.) Our Grandchildren all 7 from both marriages are great… We are so blessed this Memorial Day.

Sunday

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

This the day most people find God. Me included….. I think he is back in my mind but I don’t let him out on a regular basis..Everytime I think I will start now something else thoughs me the other way… Some else has a strong hold on me… I do not do bad things.. At least I don’t think I do… I just don’t go out of my way to do wonderful things in Gods name. I work for me….most of the time… don’t get me wrong I do things to help others when it needs to be done.. But I don’t step out and do it as I think of it.. it has to come to me and hit me over the head…Sence no one reads this blog I can air my dirty laundry so to speak… God is listening as he hears everyone no matter what they might do… or say.He might not agree with them but I know even in my little bit of christian learning that he hears everyone out…   I ran across this articale last year in Guidepost, where you write three things you must think about each day and it will work for you… I did that last year.. Well this year I decided to write something different and it has not worked so well.. I need to go back and find what I wrote last year.

This year is, Yes Things Are Great Today, T Wil Do My Best, My Bookstore will Survive

The last one is selfish… I need to go back and find last years…
