Been a long time sense I wrote here.. I have been so busy. Working to get my book store at the Lake City Flee Market working in spite of the weather.  This weekend is the grand opening after we have started remodeling. I am so proud of it.. Hubby has been working very hard. I have too. Stocking book cases full of wonderful books..I now have 5 book cases along the back wall.. one old case that was there all this time will be moved to go in the middle from right to left.. and a table will be at the very front for all the hard cover or big books.. Two tables on each end going front to back with boxes…

We will have romance, historical romance, mystery, suspense, western, children’s, some true crime and some biographies.. Cd’s and DVDs of some authors books.

We will sell most books for $1.00  hard covers will sell for $1.00 or more.  I have some harlequins that I will have as a grand opening sale..  Our $1.00 paperbacks will sell also 6 for $5.00  or $.50 and one book trade for one of our paperbacks.

Will take some pictures this weekend and put them here and on facebook page. Come out and see us.. Let us know what you think.Tell a friend bring that friend…

You are in our hearts and always will be.. Make sure you say hi to Daddy for us.We miss you both very much. Girls are going to go though the boxes and boxes of costume jewelry you have and I will take some to the other girls..

Our family history in pictures you made is going to be put on disk. and we are going to add to it to up date it… Thanks for the list of names of who people are.. I now have the task of writing on the pictures that are not written on in other boxes many boxes… we looked at some of the wonderful things you have saved over the years and are so happy that you did.

I love you Mom and I am so glad that you knew I did. And we said it just the day before. You have left me with many memories so great and some not so great. You made sure I knew all the people who were important in my life. I had many wonderful adventures thanks to you and Dad. May God bless you.  I will meet you both at the Pearly Gates some day.

Readerwave

January 4th, 2010

Well I have one book left in my Readerwave Store. Little by little I have been taking them out and taking them to the flee market so this morning I just took all but one out. “Waiting for Agnes” by Florida Native Joe Bullard. Book is about the Coral Castle built in the 1950’s with huge coral boulders… Great book and a good seller for Joe and I.

Check it out at www.readerwave.ecrater.comI also have it on ebay at www.ebay.com

The end to a not so perfect year!

December 31st, 2009

Well today is the last day of 2009. Does not seem possible..Went up to see mother and tried on all her Christmas gifts.. Have less to take back than I thought.  She gave me all her Christmas letters to answer.. I don’t even answer my own.

I have washing to do and it is getting taller by the min.

Tomorrow want to go to the flee market and check on my store. Take some books that i was given over the holidays.  Figure out a way to hang some things that I want to put in baggies..

Remember I still have an on line store and feature Joe Bullard’s “Waiting for Agnes” signed.  Has great reviews.. www.readerwave.ecrater.com or www.ebay.com or www.readerwave.com

Family and History

December 30th, 2009

Hump day already.. The time is going so fast I have so much to do before I go away again.  I have to work on stores and get Jan birthdays out. or ready to go out. I have been chilly all morning.. Could be because I did not get enough sleep.. I was playing with my Farm at Farm Town most of the night.  I need some more players so I can hire people to plow.. and its fun…

I get to contact a cousin I have not talked to in years..That should be fun. We both work on family history.. so we can catch up.

remember is you are buying a book you must pay for it to receive it. you must give a correct address if you are going to get it.

looking for great used books… www.readerwave.com

Home

December 29th, 2009

We are home!  Glad to be back but sure glad we went. We miss all our children and grandchildren when we are away from each other.  Can’t wait to go to VA in a couple of weeks to see some more grands.

We have been putting away and cleaning this morning. I have all the Christmas wrap back in the closet. But its not so far back that I can’t use it to get started again. I have a drawer full of stuff already from after holiday shopping.

Need to go to Mother today. She fell last night.. she has a goose egg on her elbow .. She has not told me yet. The place called to tell me this morning that she fell last night. She did not brake anything so they did not call us to wake us up…That was nice… I called Mom right away and she did not mention it at all..

I am wondering how my flee market store did while I was away. I hope it made even at least. Its been a hard start to get people inside. It has to change or Gene will nicely suggest that I move outside again.

Does not seem possible that its the end of the year already.

remember if you are looking for good used books or shot glasses my on line stores are great  www.readerwave.com
